Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has denied reports about the arrest of the leader of the terrorist group “Islamic state” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

On 18 April, the media reported about the detention of the head of the IG al-Baghdadi on the border of Iraq and Syria. He was allegedly grabbed the Russian and Syrian militaries.

Previously Washington has not confirmed the arrest of the leader of ISIS.
