BUDAPEST, July 17. /TASS/. Russian Nadezhda Bazhina won paired with Kristina ilinykh world Cup bronze in Budapest in a synchronous diving from a three-meter springboard, was surprised to learn that their performance in the stands watched Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher and his wife Mila kunis, who is also an actress. She told reporters after the contest.

Ilinykh and Bazhina won bronze of the world championship, gaining 312,60 points. The winners were the Chinese woman Yan Chan and Shi Tingmao (333,30), second place was taken by Canadians Jennifer Abel and Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu (323,43).

“Really? They looked at us? – surprised Bazhina. – We love their movies, but I jumped in his world and didn’t pay attention.”

On Saturday in the men’s synchronised three-meter springboard gold medals were won by Russians Yevgeny Kuznetsov and Ilya Zakharov. “This is a fantastic success, we were all very happy. They more than anyone deserve this gold,” said Bazhina.

This bronze was the sixth award for the Russian team at the world Championships in Budapest. On Saturday, the 29-year-old Bazhina won the first medal at the world Championships – a silver in the pole meter springboard. For 22-year-old ilinykh this world Cup medal was the first in his career.

The world championship on water sports in Budapest will be completed July 30.
