Bellingcat published a report on MH17 to the anniversary of the tragedy

An international group of investigators Bellingcat published a report on the crash of flight MH17, shot down by the Russian BUK missile system on July 17, 2014 near Torez (the Donetsk region), the third anniversary of the tragedy.

The relevant document posted on the website bellingcat.com Monday.

The report outlined the chronology of events just before the accident and after, based on data from open sources.

Bellingcat comes to the conclusion that the plane was shot down by Russian BUK missile system 332, which is part of the 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Russian Armed forces.

21 Jul 2014 the Russian defense Ministry published a group of fabricated documents about the route of the flight, radar data and edited satellite images taken in different time.

“I was not provided any credible evidence which would demonstrate, the presence of the current Ukrainian SAM “BUK” on the position in the affected area MH17 on 17 July 2014″, – stated in the report.

At the same time, Bellingcat says that the only possible candidate for the installation of which shot down MH17 was a Russian BUK 332 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade.
