The Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany, spoke with his Russian counterpart on the sidelines of the meeting of foreign Ministers of G20 countries in Bonn.
Foreign Minister of Germany, Sigmar Gabriel in conversation with Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov urged Moscow to influence the Donbas separatists to force them to withdraw weapons from the contact line.
This writes Reuters, citing sources in the German foreign Ministry .
According to the Agency, Gabriel demanded that Russia did everything possible to fulfill the agreement on the withdrawal of heavy weaponry from the front line in areas of heavy fighting.
“It is vital to secure the implementation of the agreement on cease-fire… too fragile,” said a source in the German Ministry.
Recall the conversation between the heads of diplomatic agencies of Russia and Germany was held in Bonn on the sidelines of the meeting of foreign Ministers of G20 countries. In the course of it, among other things, U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson urged Lavrov to implement the Minsk-2.
