Biathlete Malyshko said that he enjoyed performances on the IBU Cup

MOSCOW, January 13. /TASS/. Russian biathlete Dmitry Malyshko said that he derived pleasure from the performances on the Cup of the International biathlon Union (IBU). The word athlete leads the press service of the Russian biathlon Union.
Friday Malyshko took the sixth place in the sprint race at the world Cup, which takes place in Ruhpolding, Germany. The winner was Frenchman Martin Fourcade, who heads the overall world Cup standings, finished second to Austria’s Julian Eberhard, the third – Norwegian Emil Hegle Svendsen.

“The feeling was good,’ said baby. – In principle, after moving from Oberhof all the training here has been a pleasure. The shooting was very good, the speed performance too. Today went to the start with the same mood and just did what you did in training”.
“I spent the first race in the season without mistakes . Shot in calm, and in the race the wind picked up, he is here unstable. In shooting there is the luck part when I’m at the counter came, the wind was quite strong, and while I had made, the wind died down and allowed me to shoot very quickly and without mistakes. Someone is not lucky, because of the wind it makes a lot of mistakes,” – said the athlete.
“Yes, this season I performed at the IBU Cup – where I got great pleasure, the team there is great. All the guys are fighting, the staff friendly. So I did not upset, got there new emotions and confidence. It even got to concentrate more and work hard,” said Malyshko.
The next race on the world Cup stage in Ruhpolding – women’s sprint will be held on Saturday.
