Concerning the people’s Deputy Nikolay Martynenko else in 2015 the criminal proceedings not only in Ukraine but also in Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

The case against the detained former MP from the faction “people’s front” Mykola Martynenko also investigated in the Czech Republic and Switzerland. About this Radio Liberty said the Executive Director of the “center of counteraction of corruption” Daria kaleniuk.

“Against Martynenko else in 2015 the criminal proceedings not only in Ukraine but also in Switzerland and the Czech Republic. This production also deals with actions associated with Ukrainian energy companies, particularly state-owned company Energoatom. Martynenko years has an effect on this company. He has long been in Parliament head of Committee on fuel and energy complex and had the opportunity to lobby the interests of its companies state-owned enterprises . In particular, Energoatom and the state enterprise Vostocho,” – said kalenyuk.

At the same time, as explained kalenyuk, National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine declared suspicion in the case in which the state enterprise Vostocho, supplying a state nuclear power plant uranium concentrate, instead, to make it, bought from the Austrian offshore company. The latter, in turn, bought it from the Kazakh enterprises significantly cheaper. Only in this diagram, the state company has lost tens of millions of dollars, the expert said.

“In the case Martynenko, two state company Energoatom and Vostocho – the companies-monopolists, given the minimal profit due to the fact that of them derive different schemas means. In this case the funds were removed on such a scheme that unrealistic non-market price purchased uranium concentrate, which was produced in Ukraine,” – said kalenyuk.

Earlier, on April 20, detectives of the National anti-corruption Bureau arrested the second person involved in the case of causing losses to the state enterprise “Eastern mining-processing combine” Sergey Fracture. The detainee is suspected of committing crimes under part 1 of Art. 255 (Creating criminal organization), part 5 article 191 (Assignment, waste of property or taking to them by abuse of official position) the Criminal code of Ukraine.

Earlier, on 20 April, the detectives NAB for the same articles of the Criminal code and in the same case was detained former MP from the faction “people’s front” Mykola Martynenko.

Martynenko discards the charges of the National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine, calling them politically motivated. He noted that in 2015, voluntarily refused from the Deputy mandate, “NAB checked for their fake accusations against him”.
