During the field work found many fragments of characteristic pottery of the Trypillian era.
During plowing in Kanev district of Cherkasy region found the remains of settlements Tripoli culture, whose age is estimated at about 4 700 – 7,000 years.
“The cultivation of the land (ploughing) about 30 acres plough pulled to the surface the remains of the Tripolye settlements (about 5 000 – 2 700 years BC). Jugs and ceramics to mechanical damage were whole… At this point to the fresh tracks on the remains of the dishes,” – said the head of the regional Department of culture Oleg Ostrovsky on his page in Facebook.
According to him, it was tentatively decided to call the archaeological service to explore the discovered find. Also there is talk of creating in Kano “art Museum of Tripoli culture” .
