Company from Russia will invest $25 million in LDK, Siberia’s oldest
KRASNOYARSK, April 21. /TASS/. The company “international investor trading activities” (Amman, Jordan) invests in the development of the former Malakanskogo sawmill and woodworking plant (LDK) about $25 million this TASS said the General Director of the Jordanian companies Mohammad, Barghuti at the Krasnoyarsk economic forum (KEF) after signing the agreement with the owner of LDK.
“The project envisages deep processing of wood, manufacture of pellets. The total project cost about $25 million, we Expect to complete this project within three years,” said Bargouti. The agreement on investments signed with the company Siblesko bought in 2015 Malakanskogo property complex of the plant.
The first phase of the project involves the reconstruction of the sawmill complex, construction of new boiler house and drying chambers capacity of 61 thousand cubic meters of dry lumber per year . In the second stage it is planned to increase production to 139 thousand cubic meters per year and the establishment of production of fuel granules (pellets) of waste from the sawmill production capacity of 26 thousand tons per year. The period of implementation of the second phase from 2018 to 2020.
Maklakovsky LDK was established in 1916, is the oldest Lesexport enterprise of Siberia. The main markets of LDK was the countries of Europe and North Africa. In 2012, LDK was declared bankrupt at the request of the company “international investor trading activities” of the loss of 415 million rubles.
