Deutsche Bank has forbidden its employees to use WhatsApp and other messengers

MOSCOW, January 14. /TASS/. Deutsche Bank banned the use of instant messaging apps like WhatsApp on the corporate phone companies to meet compliance standards. On Friday Bloomberg reported, citing an announcement that was circulated to employees of the company.

“We are fully aware that such measures will change your daily work. We regret the inconvenience that will bring a ban. However, this step is necessary to ensure that Deutsche Bank continues to meet regulatory and legal requirements”, – quotes the ad Agency.

According to a Bloomberg source familiar with the situation, this step was taken due to the fact that the text messages, unlike e-mail cannot be stored on the servers of the company. The ban will affect apps such as WhatsApp, Google Talk and iMessage .
