The headquarters of the energy fulfills the reduction of industrial energy consumption to 10% during peak hours. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Hennadiy Zubko during the extraordinary session of the state Commission on questions tekhnogenno-ecological safety, which was broadcast “112 Ukraine”.
“The heads of administrations of the SES, power companies have to do the steps that we have already passed in 14 and 15 years. To work out the modes of operation with enterprises so that the peak load from 8 to 22 hours to reduce consumption, perhaps up to 10%”, – said Zubko.
“First of all, the anti-crisis measures already designed join algorithm, but I would like to note that these steps should eliminate virtually uninterrupted supply of electricity to social objects of the population, and to reduce the burden on industrial enterprises. Within these steps we must to ensure smooth functioning of power system of Ukraine”, – said Zubko.

“We need to coordinate the practical work of all Central Executive authorities, regional Executive authorities, agencies, as well as all systems of energy supply, heating, water. Primarily those steps that have already been developed. Such steps should exclude the uninterrupted supply of electricity to social objects and the population as well as to reduce the load of industrial enterprises. Within these steps we must to ensure smooth functioning of power system of Ukraine, to ensure that would happen imbalance between production and consumption, and again, to provide the population and social facilities constant power supply,” the Minister added.
Zubko also said that the instructions in the hourly scheduled loads and consumption have already been sent to the regions.
As reported, on 15 February the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduced emergency measures in the energy system of Ukraine.
Recall that in Ukraine for the third week continues the blockade of Railways, which supplied the coal from the occupied territories of Donbass. Groisman said that he sees no alternative supply of coal from enterprises in the occupied Donbas in order to ensure the heat supply.
