Georgia in the Eurovision song contest 2017 will represent 33-year-old singer Tako Gachechiladze with the song “Keep the faith”, which she wrote herself. In 2009, the Eurovision song contest in Moscow this singer was supposed to represent Georgia with the song We Don’t Wanna Put In, but because of the political overtones of the song, the country was in the contest disqualified.
The Eurovision song contest in Ukraine Tako Gachechiladze will sing a song “Keep the faith”:
Gachechiladze was born 17 March 1983 in Tbilisi. The musician in 2001 became the winner of the International song contest “Sea of friends” in Ukraine, and a year later won first place in the Belarusian “Slavonic Bazaar”. In 2004 he released his debut album. In 2007, the decree of the President of Georgia awarded the Order of honor .
In 2009 Gachechiladze in the composition of the group “Stefane and 3G” intended to represent Georgia at the Eurovision song contest in Moscow, but because of the political overtones of their songs (We Don’t Wanna Put In) musicians were asked to change the text. The group refused, so Georgia was disqualified and were not.
