GPU initiated an unscheduled inspection of e-returns 29 MPs

The Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine (PGO) initiated before the State fiscal service (SFS) of Ukraine an unscheduled inspection of electronic declarations 29 MPs. About it reports a press-service GPU.
In the course of processing electronic returns, the GPU found evidence of discrepancy between declared and funds officially received by the declarants income, from which taxes are paid and mandatory payments.
“According to available information, one of the MPs in the period 2001 to 2016, has received income in the amount of 600 thousand UAH. However, according to the electronic Declaration 2015, the last belong to the monetary funds in the amount of almost 22 million UAH”, – said the GPU .

Given that such cases are not uncommon, and with the aim of establishing the lawful origin of the declared funds and full payment of the declarants and their tax agents tax due to the budget, the GPU before the SFS initiated the documentary unscheduled inspections.
Recall, the National Agency on corruption prevention (NACP) has approved a new draft procedure for full verification of declarations of officials and monitoring procedure of the lifestyle of the subjects of declaring.
