Groysman: Ukraine and the IMF to clarify the indicators of economic growth due to blockade
This year was laid on 3% economic growth in Ukraine, but now because of the embargo, this figure will have to adjust.
Ukraine is working together with the International monetary Fund on refining indicators of economic growth in connection with the blockade in the Donbass.
This was told Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman in the program “Svoboda words” on ICTV channel.
“We are now working on refining forecasts, including the IMF,” – he said.
According to him, among other things, the blockade will affect the indicators of foreign exchange earnings, the country’s trade balance and GDP growth.
“It is necessary to adjust to today’s economic growth we must look at what we will have with the foreign exchange revenue that we will have the employment of people”, – said the Head of government .
Groysman reminded that in this year was laid on 3% economic growth in Ukraine, but now because of the embargo, this figure will have to “adjust downward”.
As previously reported, Ukraine’s representative to the IMF expect a new macroeconomic forecasts in a few days.
