In 2016 Ukraine increased meat production by 0.7%, reduced milk – by 2.1%, eggs – by 9.9%

Milk production in Ukraine in January-December 2016 (excluding the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Sevastopol, parts of the area of the ATO) decreased by 2.1% compared to the same period in 2015 to 10,387 million tons.

According to the State statistics service, meat (in live weight) in the country was made 3,294 million tons, which is 0.7% more than in 2015.

Egg production fell by 9.9% – to 15.11 billion units.

As reported with reference to statistical data, Ukraine in 2015, reduced meat production by 19.2% to 3,277 million tons, milk – by 4.7%, to 10,615 million tons, eggs – by 14.3%, to 16.78 billion units .
