Five police officers were killed and six were injured in the explosion of two roadside mines in Egypt.

“Five policemen were killed in the city of Arish, the provincial capital of North Sinai, when the armoured vehicle in which they were passed by roadside mines. Three law enforcement officials hurt. Another vehicle arrived on the scene and was also undermined, so that injured three security forces”, – stated in the material.

According to preliminary data, both bombs were detonated remotely. “Responsibility for the bombing themselves, nobody has taken, but Egypt is fighting against the militants, primarily ISIS in the Northern Sinai, where 2013 has already killed hundreds of military and law enforcement officers,” notes Reuters .
