In connection with snowfall and heavy wind more than two hundred settlements in 17 regions of Moldova were left without electricity.

In the capital of Moldova Kishinev from-for a strong snowfall and strong wind declared a state of emergency. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Commission on emergency situations.

“According to preliminary data, the heavy wind in the fallen capital of about 600 trees, damaged more than 90 cars. A few trees fell on the gas pipe. On many streets of Chisinau suspended the movement of motor transport”, – stated in the message, quoting the message of the Chisinau city hall.

Overall in Moldova, according to the Department of emergency situations and civil protection of more than two hundred settlements and 17 districts of the country was left without electricity. Was almost 300 cases of falling trees, which were damaged dozens of cars .
