In Rada registered a new draft resolution on the abolition of voting for the law on the constitutional court

MP from the faction “Batkivschyna,” Alena Shkrum announced that it has registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a draft resolution on canceling the decision of the Verkhovna Rada of July 13, 2017 on the adoption of the law “On the constitutional court of Ukraine” (No. 6427-d-L2).

“We pursue the registration of our decision on cancellation of results of voting for the law on the constitutional court”, – she wrote on his page on the social network Facebook on Monday.

She recalled that according to Ukrainian legislation, the people’s Deputy may, within two days after voting for the bill to register the draft resolution on the abolition of voting, if there were irregularities in its adoption.

“The law was voted on Thursday (13 July – if). But on Friday (14 July – if) somehow, in a strange way door registration bills were closed and never opened. Any employee of the Department, including its head all the time in the workplace was not”, – said A. Scrum .

Ultimately, according to her, the draft resolution of her authorship was registered. According to the official website of the Parliament, the date of registration is 14 July 2017.

“Dangerous law on the constitutional court – he’s waiting until September until this order is accepted or rejected. The law in one fell swoop makes the Court more dependent on the President, killing was independent of the COP and kills the institution of the Commissioner for human rights. A. Scrum also promised to understand, why the deputies could not on Friday, July 14, to exercise their right to register projects, and why “the registration was closed on Friday without warning or explanation.”

As reported, on 13 July, the Verkhovna Rada votes 245 deputies adopted in the second reading the law (No. 6427-d) on the constitutional court of Ukraine. The law implementeret amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine on justice determines the order of organization and activities of the COP.

During the consideration of amendments to the bill before the vote, MP A. Schrum said about trying using the law to make the constitutional court more closed and subordinated to the President of Ukraine.

On the same day in the Parliament registered two draft resolutions on the abolition of voting for the law “On the constitutional court” – the people’s Deputy Yury Levchenko (No. 6427-d-P) and Yuriy Derevyanko (No. 6427-d-L1). Justifying the draft resolution Y. Levchenko noted that the law “was adopted with gross violation of requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine”.

However, on Friday, July 14, the Ukrainian Parliament rejected both draft regulations on the abolition of voting by the law “On the constitutional court”.

According to the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada, speaker of Parliament shall sign the adopted law, if you registered a draft resolution on the abolition of voting on it.
