In Romania abolished the stamp duty for citizenship and passports
The document was published in the Official Monitor of Romania stipulates the exemption from state fees those wishing to obtain citizenship.
In Romania wishing to obtain Romanian citizenship, including a passport, are exempt from paying the state fee. The corresponding document was published in the Official Monitor of Romania.
“The issuance of electronic passports and other documents for crossing the state border, the Romanian citizenship, obtaining the necessary certificates from the law enforcement agencies of Romania from 1 February 2017 will be carried out without payment of state duties”, – stated in the published document.
This act made several months ago by the Parliament of Romania, however, signed by President Klaus Iohannis at the beginning of January 2017 .
Previously in the preparation of documents on reception of the Romanian citizenship had to pay the state duty in the amount of about 50 euros, and for receiving, for example, certificates of the Ministry of internal Affairs of no criminal record fee was a little more than 5 euros.
