Martin Fourcade won the sprint on stage KM biathlon in Ruhpolding

MOSCOW, January 13. /TASS/. French biathlete Martin Fourcade became the winner of the sprint race at the world Cup, which takes place in Ruhpolding, Germany. A distance of 10 miles he covered in 22 minutes, 34.2 seconds, not allowing two shooting any mistake.

Second place went to Austrian Julian Eberhard (delay 18 seconds, 0 misses), third went to Norway’s Emil Hegle Svendsen (+39,7; 0).

The best result among the Russians showed Dmitry Malyshko, who became sixth (+56,2; 0), Evgeny Garanichev took 19-th place (+1.25,0; 1), Anton Babikov and Anton Shipulin has shared the 23-th position (+1.27,6; 1 and 3 misses, respectively), Maxim Tsvetkov became 31-m (+1.38,9; 1), Matthew Elisha – 59-m (+2.18,9; 3).

Women’s sprint will be held on Saturday. The world Cup in Ruhpolding will end on 15 January two-race pursuit .
