In the course of rechecking the doping samples taken during the Olympic games in Sochi, the IOC experts found scratches on banks belonging Zaitseva. It is reported by “Sport-Express”. The IOC believes that these scratches could appear after the urine with traces of banned drugs were tampered with on the net.

Zaitsev was summoned to a meeting of the Commission under the leadership of Denis Oswald. It is expected that this meeting will be held in late November.

The President of the Russian biathlon Union Alexander Kravtsov has refused to comment on the situation with Zaitseva prior to filing a formal request from the IOC .
