Media: the third attempt the test engine rocket, the Falcon Heavy is scheduled for Saturday

NEW YORK, January 12. /TASS/. Engines test heavy carrier rocket Falcon Heavy of SpaceX at Cape Canaveral (Florida) is scheduled for Saturday (13 January). This was reported on Friday the Internet portal Spaceflight Now-tracking preparations for the tests.

Initially, the first test firing of the engines of the carrier rocket Falcon Heavy on the pad 39A in Florida was scheduled for Wednesday (10 January), but then was postponed to Thursday (11 January). Under the program, the rocket was fueling, and then, after checking all systems, should have been held static test: the engines had to work 15 seconds without lifting the rocket from the launch pad.

However, as reported by the Internet portal, test on Thursday did not take place and the reason for their migration is not named. The missile was removed from the launch pad and moved in a horizontal position . A new attempt of the test engines is scheduled for Saturday from 17:00 to 22:00 East coast time USA (01:00-06:00 GMT on 14 January).

The Falcon Heavy is created on the basis of a rocket heavy class Falcon 9. It is assumed that it can deliver to orbit more than 54 tons of cargo.
