Today in Ukraine there is no critical mass of coal stocks at power plants.
About it on air of TV channel “112 Ukraine”, said the Minister of energy and coal industry Igor Nasalik.
“United energy system we do not have the critical mass (of coal reserves. – ed.). But to be clear, what is the volume in question: Ukraine per day burns about 85-100 thousand tons of coal. 40 thousand ton – anthracite group. Therefore, the measures taken, emergency, undertaken with the objective to minimize the use of anthracite coal at power generating stations”, – he said.
