Natspolitsiya of Ukraine will strengthen work at three checkpoints on the admingranitse the Crimea

The national police of Ukraine to intensify work on the three border crossing points “Kalanchak”, “Chaplynka” and “Chongar” on the administrative border with Russian occupied Crimea to prevent the activities of criminals that could arrive from the Peninsula or to disappear there.

According to the Department of communication of national police, this was discussed on Saturday at the operational meeting under the chairmanship of the first Deputy head of national police, head of criminal police Vyacheslav Abroskin, with the participation of the heads of the police of Crimea, the police of the Kherson region, as well as several structural units of the departments of the criminal investigation Department and the police.

V. Abroskin noted that the purpose of the meeting is to organize the work of the police of the Crimea to counter criminal elements . In particular, we are talking about the identification of the crimes committed against Ukrainian citizens on the Peninsula; as well as identify and arrest persons who are wanted by Ukrainian law enforcement agencies for crimes against fundamentals of national security of Ukraine.

The meeting also discussed the efforts to apprehend criminals who arrive in Ukraine for committing grave and especially grave crimes and acts of sabotage.

Therefore, the police Crimea and adjacent regions will coordinate the work on revealing and suppression of criminal offences. “This aktiviziruyutsya police work at three border crossing points located on the boundary line with the occupied Peninsula”, – stated in the message.

The police informed that during 2017 the line of demarcation between mainland Ukraine and occupied Crimea have crossed over 2.5 million people and more than 410 thousand vehicles.
