NCSP in January and February topped the rating of cargo terminals with a turnover of 11.9 million tons

MOSCOW, March 20./TASS/. The turnover of goods of seaports of Russia for January-February 2017 increased by 8.2% compared to the same period in 2016, to 114,82 million tons.

TASS made on the basis of data of Association of commercial sea ports, ranking stevedoring companies in Russia. The leading place in the rating, as in 2016, is PJSC NCSP (Novorossiysk port) c increased transshipment of 11.96 million tons, a decline of 0.8%. The share of transshipment company is 10 .4% of the total cargo turnover of seaports of the Russian Federation.

In second place is OOO “Primorsk trade port” (the port of Primorsk) with a turnover of 10.93 million tons (+5,5%). Third position is JSC “CPC-R” (port of Novorossiysk) – 8,08 million tons (+4.7 per cent).

Stevedoring company JSC “Rosterminalugol” (Ust-Luga port) in January-February of 2016 took 12 th position. In the reporting period, the company has risen to the 9th position, having increased its cargo handling by 45.1%, to 3.02 million tons. “Sakhalin Enerdzhi investment KOMPANI Ltd” (port suburban) rose from 10th position to 8th with a turnover of 3.15 million tons (+29.9 per cent). JSC “Tuapse ICC” (port Tuapse) dropped from 9th to 10th position, rising to 2.94 million tons (+9.5 percent). The company “Daltransugol”, held in January-February 2016 8-th position, in the reporting period came from the top 10.

In January-February 2017, the highest growth of cargo handling as noted in the following companies: OOO “RPK North” (Murmansk) – 5 times to 2.29 million tons, OOO “Gazpromneft-Yamal” (the port of Sabetta) – 4 times, to 742,9 thousand tons, JSC “Dallimonti” (port Nakhodka) in 3.7 times, to 200.2 thousand tons.

The greatest decrease in turnover showed stevedoring companies: JSC SK “Strelets” (the port of Astrakhan) – 82,7% to 9.6 thousand tons, LLC “KGS-MOL” (the port of Temryuk) – 78,8%, up to 5 thousand tons, the Federal state unitary enterprise “Makhachkala ICC” (the port of Makhachkala) – 78,8%, to 133 thousand tons.

In January-February 2017 the ten largest stevedoring companies transshipped of 57.11 million tons of cargo, accounting for 49.7% of the total turnover of seaports of Russia and more against January-February of 2016 to 5.7%.
