Nikolaev finished in seventh place at the 11th stage of the Dakar and missed the lead in the overall standings

TASS, January 17. The crew Eduard Nikolaev of the Russian team “KAMAZ-master” finished seventh at the 11th stage of the rally-marathon “Dakar” in offset of trucks. Nikolaev has overcome the stage between the Argentine cities of belén, and Chilecito in 5 hours 56 minutes 25 seconds.

The best time on special stage with a length of 280 km showed the crew of Belarusian Sergei Vyazovich of the team “MAZ-sport” – 5:14.10. Second was Argentinian Federico Villagra at the “Iveco” (delay 1.24), third – Russian Dmitry Sotnikov from the “KAMAZ-master” (+28.51). Nikolaev lost to the winner, 42 minutes and 15 seconds .

The crew of “KAMAZ-master” Ayrat Mardeev was shown at the 11th stage of the eighth time (+55.28).

Nikolaev dropped to second place in the overall standings trucks with a score of 40 hours 5 minutes 34 seconds. Villagra leads (39:49.27), the third is the Vyazovich (43:11.49).

Finish of the rally, scheduled for 20 January, in the Argentine Cordoba.
