“We are interested in investing in the LNG market (liquefied natural gas – approx. ed.). We have established a portfolio of gas sales on the domestic market, also we would like to have a guaranteed portfolio for the LNG market. In Europe we are present, you know. Buy and sell somewhere around 3 billion cubic meters of pipeline gas. And, of course, we are interested in the bunkering business, the business of gas stations heavy vehicles,” – said Mikhelson.
He noted that we are talking not only about the European market, and in General about the world. “As you know, no European oil market, or American, or middle Eastern. There is a world market. And over time, the LNG market will be the same,” – said Mikhelson.
In particular, NOVATEK is discussing investment in LNG projects “kriogaz”, in addition, considers Saipem and General Electric as partners in its LNG projects.

And it is very important to have not just an engineering company, and we wanted to have a partner in their face. Therefore, we slightly delay the final signing of all these documents, as discussed their involvement as a partner,” he told reporters.
