“Rodchenkov said that Zaitsev four years used the erythropoietin that I’m not involved, but an experienced coach should have been able to see it. That’s what he said. But I don’t understand how I was supposed to see it? I don’t believe it,” said Pichler.

“We held our training camp in Ruhpolding, all Russian women were under the control of WADA, she lived in Belgium and Switzerland, about 90% of the time she spent in Europe. She was under the control of WADA and there was nothing suspicious. So then where is the evidence?” he said.

In this regard, the coach, who now works with the Swedish national team, convinced that it is necessary to hold a confrontation with Rodchenkova to “eye to eye” to discuss his allegations. “But I have no such a chance,” he said.
