Primorye for the first time in the Russian Federation compensates for the Studio part of the cost removed in the region of the film

VLADIVOSTOK, January 14. /TASS/. The Russian film company “MARS film” became the first in the country, claiming the rebate the payment of the cost of the film in the budget of the region, where the shooting took place. On Saturday reported the press service of the government of Primorsky Krai.
The regions will pay filmmakers for shooting in their territory
“The first ever Russian production company applying for the rebate, determined in Primorye. For reimbursement of expenses for film production can count on “MARS-the movie” with the film “In the area”. In November 2016 at the initiative of Governor Vladimir Miklushevsky, the Primorsky Krai became the first region in the country which introduced a system of rebates. To 15% of the cost of film crews for film production in the region will be compensated from the regional budget”, – stated in the message .
The exact amount of compensation will be known after verification by the competition Commission of financial documents provided by the company.
“According to the system of rebates crew, working in Primorye, can count on compensation of expenses on accommodation, travel and other services. In the draft budget 2017 for this purpose is already pledged five million rubles. Compensation for the previous year will be made annually until January 31,” – said the press service.
Shooting crime drama “the district” with the participation of the famous Russian actor Danila Kozlovsky were held in the region in the fall of 2016.
Every year in Primorsky Krai are shooting movies film companies of Russia and countries of the Asia Pacific region. In particular, in 2016 was cleared by the detective television series “International investigation” for the Central channel China ССТV6, and in the fall of 2017 in wide release will be Russian adventure Comedy “Partner”, filmed in Primorye, in which the main role was played by Sergey Garmash.
