Radev commented on the situation with the early parliamentary elections in Bulgaria

Rumen Radev announced that after the official inauguration plans to soon dissolve Parliament and appoint early elections.
The President-elect of Bulgaria, rumen Radev going after the official inauguration in the shortest possible time to appoint a caretaker government, dissolve the Parliament and appoint early elections, reads the statement of the elected President of Bulgaria.
“On Sunday, January 22, will take place official ceremony of inauguration of President and Vice-President. The Constitution obliges me to appoint a caretaker government, dissolve the National Assembly (Parliament) and to determine the date of early parliamentary elections. In November 2016, the constitutional court of Bulgaria has identified these tasks as urgent and a priority”, – stated in the message .
Radev expressed the hope that in the remaining before the dissolution of Parliament days and weeks elected officials with respect and responsibility will belong to the will of Bulgarian voters.
The corresponding letter sent and addressed to the speaker of the National Assembly of Bulgaria.
According to preliminary data, early parliamentary elections can take place on 2 April 2017.
Major General retired rumen Radev has been elected President of Bulgaria 13 November 2016. The ceremony of official inauguration of the head of state will be held on Sunday, January 22, this year.
