Rescuers will do everything possible for rescue of Iranian sailors that can remain aboard the burning tanker

The Chinese side will take all possible steps to extinguish the fire on the burning sea in a tanker on Board which is Iranian sailors, said Saturday foreign Minister Wang Yi in a telephone conversation with Iranian foreign Minister Javad Zarif.

“Chinese rescuers would spare no effort to extinguish the fire on the Iranian oil tanker and assist the missing sailors,” – he quoted a Chinese diplomat in the Iranian media.

Earlier on Saturday it became known that on Board the burning tanker drifting in the East China sea, found the bodies of two Iranian sailors, who died as a result of collision of the Iranian tanker from the Hong Kong cargo ship a week ago.

“On Saturday morning, the Chinese rescuers entered the burning tanker for half an hour, they found the bodies of two crew members,” the Iranian media reported with reference to Director of the National Iranian tanker company of Kian Ersi .

According to him, due to weather conditions and lack of oxygen rescuers were unable to continue the search operation.

A tanker caught fire on Saturday after he faced in the East China sea with a Chinese freighter. The cause of the collision is still unknown.

Before it was reported that rescuers managed to find the body of one crew member of the tanker, and all on Board at the time of the disaster were 32 people, including 30 Iranians and two citizens of Bangladesh.

The representative of the Ministry of petroleum of Iran said earlier that a tanker leased by the Korean company Hanwha TOTAL Co, was carrying condensate, belonging to the National Iranian oil company (NIOC).
