Scientists discuss in Ugra the development of a network of especially protected natural territories
EKATERINBURG, January 13. /TASS/. Russian scientists will discuss the prospects of development of the network of specially protected natural areas in the industrialized regions during the conference in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra (KHMAO – Yugra), which will be held March 23. This was reported in the press center of the regional government. Just plan on holding the Year of ecology in Ugra includes more than 100 different events.
“Among them are the interregional scientific-practical conference “Modern state and future development of the network of specially protected natural areas in industrialized regions”, which will be held on March 23 in Beloyarskiy. It is timed to the 20th anniversary of the nature Park Numto. In may-June is also planned environmental assault on the cleaning of the adjacent territory”, – stated in the message.
According to the Deputy Governor Alexey Zabozlaev, such meetings are necessary for the scientific community . “We plan to hold large-scale conference on the development of natural areas. According to its results will be published a collection of reports, scientific works on the given topic. It will be a great help for those who are concerned with this issue”, – he said.
In other regions of the Ural Federal district also plans events dedicated to the Year of ecology. For example, in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district implement around 70 conservation projects, including the completion of a “General cleaning” on the White island and the establishment of a nursery green plant in Salekhard area of 700 sq m with the use of advanced technologies of cultivation of perennial plants in the far North.
And in the Tyumen region plans to implement 60 different projects, including the completion of the second phase of construction of objects of the concession agreement – inter-municipal waste treatment plants in Tyumen, Ishim and Yalutorovsk, and two transfer stations in Tyumen and Tyumen region. In the Ugra approved the scheme of waste management, according to which up to 2021 in the district should be built a network of five inter-municipal landfills, involving not only the landfill, but also recycling of raw materials.
