The publication reports that the device monitors and triggers the neurons which are responsible for receiving visual information.

It is reported that this invention is part of a DARPA project, an initiative dedicated to creating a neural interface that helps to solve various health problems.

Experts believe that with the help of chip, you can restore not only sight but also hearing .
