Shepelev appeal the court’s decision on the claim “Rusfond” relatives Friske

MOSCOW, may 19. /TASS/. TV presenter Dmitry Shepelev is going to appeal the court’s decision in the case “Rusfond”, according to which the relatives of the singer Zhanna Friske should return a charitable organization of 21.6 million rubles. This is stated in the lead statement received by TASS.

“I will continue to fight for the only thing important to me is the welfare and peace of my son. Of course, this court decision will be challenged by my lawyers,” said Shepelev.

According to Shepeleva, the court was presented evidence that raised funds for a few weeks before the death of the singer was withdrawn by her mother Olga Friske. “Obviously, four days before death it is impossible to spend the money for treatment of the hopelessly ill, the dying person,” he said, stressing that he did not know how was spent the money.

“The main thing, in my opinion, Plato answer it should not. It is ironic that the court does not have qualified this action, I don’t know what to call it other than theft,” said Shepelev.

He noted that this case is important to the charity movement in Russia and it is that reputation is “Rusfond” restored. “But paternal I contend, because a bargaining chip in this horrible and shameful history, my only son, who received after deceased mom’s debts and endless gossip” – he complained.

Famous singer Zhanna Friske died on 15 Jun 2015 at the age of 40 years. In 2013 she was fighting cancer of the brain.

The Claim “Rusfond”

“Rusfond” has addressed in court with the claim to Vladimir and Olga Friske, as well as four-year-old son of singer Plato in the person of its legal representative Dmitry Shepelev about the report of the expenditure of 21.6 million rubles, collected by viewers of the First channel for the treatment of Zhanna Friske. As explained in the “Rusfond”, relatives Friske took an active part in raising funds for her treatment: appealed for help to the Fund, acted in TV shows. However, after the death of Joan they refused to provide documents proving the donations to pay for medical services.

The agreement concluded with Zhanna Friske included targeted spending and obliged to provide a report on the cost of treatment and the return of unspent amounts. In the “Rusfond” stated that given the organization of the documents indicate that the treatment was spent only a small part of the total amount of 25 million rubles. The Fund reported that he had received a report on the expenditure of only 4.12 million rubles.
