MOSCOW, January 13. /TASS/. The chief editor of RT Margarita Simonyan called the hysterical reaction to the sudden inclusion of the Russian TV channel broadcast the American channel C-Span.
Media: in the US, the broadcast of the meeting of the Congress was interrupted by the RT program
“All the crazy hospital gathered at the screen. Even C-Span has admitted that he is guilty in failure. But mainstream beats in hysterics, again to blame RT and Russian hackers ,” said Simonyan, commenting on the history of TASS.
Previously, the newspaper The New York Times reported that during a broadcast meeting in the House of representatives of the Congress of the USA on TV C-Span viewers within 10 minutes and was forced to watch the Russian TV channel RT in English.
Social media users immediately assumed that the failure was caused by an attack by Russian hackers. The stream was interrupted at the exact moment when to speak at the meeting were Maxine waters, known for his sharp criticism of Donald trump. Waters has repeatedly said he did not believe a word he said, and will “always and everywhere to fight” against the elected President. The fact that you were interrupted in her speech, amid ongoing accusations by the outgoing administration and US intelligence on the alleged involvement of Russia to hacking servers of the Democratic party only increased the hysteria around the release of a hacking attack.

Representatives of C-Span stress that caused the failure was their own technical error. “We don’t believe that it was hacking. According to the preliminary investigation, a break in the broadcast was caused by internal error of routing, – stated in the message that the channel has published on his page on the microblogging service Twitter. – We take very seriously the security of our network, we’ll conduct a deep investigation, it will take some time.”
