“Unmanned aerial vehicles of the regional emergencies Ministry will monitor the situation with wildfires in the three districts of Transbaikalia. Their objective is to detect fires at an early stage for prompt action to eliminate them”, – said the Agency .
There said that to stabilize the situation with fires in the Gazimur-Factory, Nerchinsko-Zavodskoy and Hiloksky areas directed interagency task force. They are formed of representatives of regional governments, forestry management and employees of Transbaikalian rescue Agency equipped with drones.
“The devices are cameras with high resolution that will help the rescuers to detect fire at an early stage and to take measures to eliminate them. In case of detection of an arsonist entry with the unmanned vehicle will be conclusive evidence of violation of the law and will help to bring the perpetrators to administrative responsibility”, – said the press service.
Earlier, the Governor Natalia Zhdanova has signed a decree on the introduction in the region of high alert mode. In addition, in the Gazimur-Zavodsky, Nerchinsko-Zavodsky, Uletovsky and Hiloksky areas has a special fire-prevention mode, which involves a ban on burning grass, wood and crop residues on lands of all categories, including preventive burning.
