Team Russia lost to team Sweden in the semifinals of the youth world championship on hockey

DMITROV /Moscow region/, January 12. /TASS/. Team Russia with the score 1:2 lost to Sweden in the semifinal match of the women’s youth world championship on hockey (players no older than 18 years), which takes place in the Moscow suburb of Dmitrov.

Abandoned washers in the composition of the Swedish women scored joséphine Bouveng (31) and Jenny Antonsson (51). For the Russian team scored Ilona Markov (49).

In the other semifinal match American shootout team beat Canada with a score of 4:3.

Team Sweden became the first European team that will play in the final of the women’s youth world championship on hockey. In the previous final matches of the tournament, which runs from 2008, always involved teams of USA and Canada.

In the match for third place, the Russians will play against team Canada on Saturday , beginning at 15:30 GMT. The final match of the tournament will be held later in the day.
