The channel explained the intervention in the air “internal routing error”.

 

The TV channel of the United States Congress C-SPAN interrupted broadcast of Russian propaganda TV channel Russia Today.

The incident occurred during a discussion in the House of representatives bills related to the Commission on securities and stock exchanges, reported the American TV channel Twitter.

During the intervention of the Russian channel showed a plot in which the Minister of foreign Affairs of Poland Witold Waszczykowski reported on the negotiations with a non-existent country San Escobar. Broadcast channel C-SPAN was restored within 10 minutes.

The channel explained the intervention in the air “internal routing error”.

“We don’t believe that it was a hacker attack… We take the security of our network very seriously and will continue a more in-depth investigation, which may take some time,” said C-SPAN .
