The Shevchenkovsky district court of Kiev granted permission for the implementation of the special pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings against the leader of the “people’s militia of Donbass” and the so-called “people’s Governor of Donetsk” Pavel Gubarev. This reports the press service of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine (GPU).
“It is established that the citizen of Ukraine Pavel Gubarev, while in Donetsk, during February and March 2014 with the aim of overthrowing constitutional order and changing the borders territory of Ukraine entered into criminal conspiracy with other persons involved in the riots carried out the seizure of the premises of public authorities and local self-government, which was accompanied by resistance to representatives of law enforcement bodies”, – stated in the message .
In GPU note that these actions paralyzed the work of the organs of power and administration in this area, making it impossible to restore law and has led to the emergence on the territory of Donetsk region of the terrorist organization “DNR”.
