The draft law on de-occupation and reintegration of Donbass will be harmonized with the Minsk agreements

A bill to restore Ukraine’s sovereignty over ORDA will be given to the harmonization of the current situation with the Minsk agreements and will again be enshrined Ukraine’s commitment to political and diplomatic solution to the conflict in the Donbass, said the representative of the President of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Lutsenko.

“A particularly important point of this law is the harmonization of changes in the current situation of Ukraine with the obligations of Ukraine according to the Minsk agreement and re-evidence that Ukraine is ready to continue and advocated a political-diplomatic settlement of the conflict in the Donbass”, – she said at a meeting of the conciliatory Council of leaders of factions, committees and groups of the Parliament on Monday in Kiev.

I. Lutsenko also said that the document will be aimed at strengthening the protection and defense of the state in the area of the ATO in a separate region of Donetsk and Lugansk regions .

“It is our commitment to the de – occupation of Donbass”, – she said.

The representative of the President also added that the bill is primarily aimed at the reintegration of Donbass.

“We are talking to in the act on the legal status of hostilities. We are talking about the recognition of the legal status of separate districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. We’re talking about improving the socio-economic management to address appropriately the problems of people in the conflict zone – a birth certificate, notary certificate, etc.” – said I. Lutsenko.

She also added that the necessity of such a bill called the last aggressor’s actions in the Donbas, such as the legalization of passports “L/DNR”, the introduction of the so-called “ruble zone”, the confiscation of Ukrainian enterprises and the attempt of the separatists to delay the border of Ukraine to the so-called zone.
