The GPU initiates unscheduled inspections of e-declarations, 29 deputies

The Prosecutor General’s office initiated an unscheduled inspection of e-returns of nearly 30 MPs.

The Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine initiated before the State fiscal service of carrying out documentary unscheduled inspections of electronic declarations 29 MPs in view of establishing the incompatibility between the declared assets and income officially received by the declarants.

As informs on Friday a press-service of the Prosecutor General, in particular, according to available information, one of the MPs in the period 2001 to 2016, has received income in the amount of 600 thousand UAH. However, according to the electronic Declaration for 2015 it owns funds in the amount of almost UAH 22 million .

“Given that such cases are not uncommon and for the purpose of establishing the lawful origin of the declared funds and full payment of the declarants and their tax agents the amounts due, taxes to the budget, the General Prosecutor of Ukraine the State fiscal service of Ukraine initiated the documentary unscheduled inspections regarding the said issues in respect of 29 people’s deputies of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
