The illegal settlement activity of Israel is of concern to the Russian delegation in the HRC

The Russian delegation participating in Geneva in the 34th session of the UN Council on human rights (HRC) expressed concern about illegal settlement activity of Israel in the occupied territories. The representative of the delegation of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Ustinov said, speaking at the session that the only chance for a fair settlement of the conflict is a “two-state solution,” and called on Israel “to take practical measures to facilitate the Palestinian population” .

“We Express serious concern over continuing illegal settlement activity of Israel in the occupied territories, including the latest actions by the Israeli side for the legalization of settlement outposts, the Israeli state created in the part on private Palestinian land in the West Bank of the Jordan river,” – said the diplomat.
