The movement of trailers on the main highway of Georgia are prohibited due to snowfall

Due to the intense snowfall in the 20-kilometer stretch (138-158 km) international road Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze (E-60), which route all passing through the territory of Georgia for transit of goods, prohibited the movement of cars with trailers and semi-trailers, said on the night of Friday, the Department of highways of the Ministry of regional development and infrastructure of Georgia.

According to the Agency, in connection with a strong snowfall and ice are also prohibited the movement of trailers and trucks and buses with a capacity of more than 30 places on the 22-kilometer stretch of road Ninotsminda – the Armenian border, a 36-kilometer stretch of road Akhalkalaki – Kartsakhi (border with Turkey) and Akhaltsikhe-Vale (Turkey border).

Bad weather has restricted traffic on several other roads of Georgia, mostly in the Central and West of the country .
