The Parliament failed appointment of auditor NABOO
People’s deputies of Ukraine are unable to delegate Nigel brown on its quota in the membership of the Commission on audit the National anti-corruption Bureau.
As the correspondent of Agency “Interfax-Ukraine”, “for” the decision voted the 200 people’s deputies with the required minimum of 226 votes, “against” votes of 60 MPs abstained 21 MP, 65 – did not vote.
Before that, the Chairman of the Parliament Andrei Parubiy issued on preferential voting of candidates N. Brown and the second candidate – Robert Storch. During the preferential voting first candidate won more votes, after which his nomination brought to a vote for the approval of an independent auditor NABOO.
After the failed vote the speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament instructed the Committee on preventing and combating corruption “to finalize the matter in a normal and relaxed atmosphere and to submit for consideration of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine” .
