MOSCOW, January 14. /TASS/. Rebellious military of côte d’ivoire reached an agreement with the government on the issue of raising their salaries, triggering riots. This was reported by Reuters.
According to the representative of the military, agreement was reached with a delegation headed by the Minister of defense Alain-Richard donwahi the second largest city of bouaké.
Earlier it was reported that the rebels have surrounded the town, in which there were members of governmental and military delegations, and blocked the exits from it.
A group of soldiers, demanding higher wages, on the night of 6 Jan clashed with law enforcement officers stole weapons from police stations bouaké, and then took up positions at the entrances to the city. Later, soldiers rioted in two cities of côte d’ivoire, Daloa and Korhogo. Well-armed rebels took control of some roads. Security forces left the settlements, where the riots took place .
