The WADA Executive Committee approved the composition of the Independent organisations of the doping test

TASS, October 12. The Executive Committee of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) approved the composition of the Independent organisations of the doping test (ITA). This was reported on the official WADA website.

The Chairman of the ITA approved by the former Minister of sport of France, Valery Fourneyron. Also the structure of the organization included Dr . Ugur (the representative of the International Olympic Committee) from Turkey, the Italian Francesco Ricci Bitti (the representative of the international federations) two-time Olympic champion from Zimbabwe, Kirsty Coventry (representative of the athletes ‘ Commission of the International Olympic Committee) and President of the Shanghai Institute of physical education Chinese Passe Chen (independent member).

Executive Committee the IOC at meeting in March presented the Declaration of reforms in the anti-doping system consisting of 12 points. ITA needs to develop an individual test plan for each athlete. Athletes to participate in international competition must pass a certain number of doping tests. At the suggestion of the IOC, the athlete has not passed the minimum number of samples, will not be allowed to participate in the Olympic games or the world Cup.
