Tusk will present the EU Directive on Brexit
The head of the European Council will prepare draft guidelines for Brexit.
European Council President Donald Tusk will present the EU draft directives two days later after the launch of a UK exit from the EU.
“Within 48 hours after the UK launch article 50 (Lisbon Treaty – if), I will present a draft guidance for Brexit 27 member countries of the EU”, – wrote on Monday Donald Tusk in his microblog on “Twitter”.
Within 48 hours of the UK triggering Article 50, I will present the draft #Brexit guidelines to the EU27 Member States.

Earlier in the day London has announced that it will start the process of a British exit from the EU on March 29.
“Once we start (Brexit – if), 27 countries agree on the main points for negotiation and the negotiating mandate of the European Commission”, – said the official representative of the Prime Minister of great Britain James slack .
In turn, the official representative of the European Commission, Margaritis Schinas told reporters on Monday that Brussels is awaiting the formal notification from London.
He explained that after receipt of the notification, the EU will take policy guidance. The President of the European Council Donald Tusk will convene a meeting of member countries of the EU at the highest level, and immediately followed by the recommendation to start negotiations.
