US stocks are rising on Friday on data, reporting

Us stock indices weakly increase during trading on Friday after the publication of the first financial statements of the largest banks on wall street and data on retail sales and producer prices.

The Nasdaq Composite updated intraday record.

Retail sales growth in December accelerated to 0.6 percent from 0.1 percent in November, but it turned out worse than expected. The consensus forecast of experts expected increased in December by 0.8%.

Producer prices in the U.S. increased in December by 0.3% compared with the previous month and by 1.6% in annual terms, in line with forecasts of economists.

According to analysts, earnings of companies included in the list of Standard & Poor’s 500 increased in the fourth quarter by 3.8% and in the banking industry, the rise was 5%.

Market value JPMorgan increased by 1.9% before the main session . Profit and revenue are the largest US Bank in the fourth quarter surpassed market expectations, thanks to strong results in the segment of trading bonds, however, income from stock trading was weaker than forecasts. JPMorgan’s annual profit was a record.

The stock of Bank of America rose 2%. The Bank’s profit increased by 43% in the October-December period, it increased the share repurchase. However, its revenue was less than the forecast of $19.99 billion against the expected $of 20.58 billion.

Standard & Poor’s 500 rose 8.14 points (0,36%) – to 2278,58 points.

The Nasdaq Composite index added 30,54 points (0.55 percent) and amounted to 5578,02 points.
