VTSIOM in January began to conduct daily public opinion polls
MOSCOW, January 13. /TASS/. VTSIOM from January 9 launched the project “Sputnik”, in which they will be conducted daily opinion polls. This was stated on Friday the General Director of VTSIOM Valery Fedorov at the Gaidar forum “Russia and the world: choosing priorities”, which takes place in Moscow.

“January 9, we are in the polls for the first time in Russia launched Sputnik. The name of our new research project, it is a daily all-Russian representative public opinion survey, the key word here is “daily”, – said Fedorov .
According to him, such studies in Russia yet was not. “Was only carried out weekly interviews and daily surveys if carried out, it is only for a short period of time at some specific task – marketing things or at the elections,” he said.
“Maybe he (poll) will take place more often, but for the visible future it will be daily,” – said Fedorov.
According to him, the polls will be the third world organisation that conducts such studies. Daily Gallup conducts surveys in the USA and YouGov in the UK, he added.
“Opportunities daily survey is clear: now every event, initiative, any fake can be tested from the point of view of how it was perceived, as it was interpreted, what to do with it,” concluded Fyodorov.
