Crooks stole 35 million roubles have arrived hitchhiking to Moscow men

MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS./ A con artist scammed immigrants in two Moscow men trying to convert 35.5 million rubles for dollars.

As reported TASS Wednesday in a press-service capital GU the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia, “in the night of Tuesday, a man reported to police that together with her 47-year-old friend arrived in Moscow on passing vehicles for the exchange of 35.5 million rubles for dollars.” “The exchange of money they had planned on Forest street, 1/2”, – have informed in a press-service.

In the Chapter explained that the applicant previously was in contact with the man he recommended to friends for the operation of the exchange. “They met at the exchange on grove street, where he had left 35.5 million rubles. After that, the man explained that the required amount of dollars in the exchange office there, and to obtain it they need to go to the Bank on Myasnitskaya street, D. 18. The ruble should remain in the exchange office,” – said the press service of the Metropolitan police.

On the way, it turned out that the correct amount has not been collected yet. “Mediator” invited the men to wait in the café, and he at that time under the pretext of the need to charge my cell phone disappeared.

“The damage amounted to 35 million 500 thousand rubles. A criminal case under article “Fraud” of the criminal code”, – concluded the representative of the Central Directorate of police.
