BELGRADE, February 13. /TASS./ Russian football club CSKA tied with Serbian “red Star” with the score 0:0 in the first match of 1/16 finals of the Europa League. The meeting was held in Belgrade at the stadium “Rajko Mitic” in the presence 35642 spectators.

The game started with a minute of silence in memory of those killed in the crash of An-148. In the beginning of the second half CSKA fans lit a few flares, and the field was shrouded in smoke, but the game was not stopped.

CSKA and “Crvena Zvezda” held the first official match with each other. The army team played the whole game, the Nigerian forward Ahmed Musa. He spent the first official match for the club after returning from the English “Lester”. Alexander Golovin will miss the second leg against red Star because of two yellow cards .

For the Serbian team played the whole match Hulk, Damien Le Tallec, Branko Jovicic and captain Mitchell Donald. All four of them at different times played in the Russian football Premier League.

The Union of European football associations (UEFA) in early January punished “Crvena Zvezda” closing the stands for the match against CSKA for racist and discriminatory behaviour of fans at the game group stage with BATE, which was held in Borisov on November 23 last year. The Serbian club has filed an appeal against UEFA’s decision, on February 5, it was satisfied.

The return match between CSKA Moscow and Crvena Zvezda will take place on 21 February in Moscow to “VEB-Arena”.
